Cambridge English registration and test-day checklist
Use one checklist from entering registration details and saving confirmation to checking documents, arrival time and component schedules.
A successful registration is not the end of preparation. Check the English name and ID, exam, written and speaking dates and locations, arrival time, permitted items and emergency contact route.
During registration
All details should match the valid identity document used on test day. A guardian should check minor candidates' names, spacing and document numbers.
- Confirm exam, version and city
- Enter English name and birth details exactly as documented
- Save order, payment and confirmation messages
After receiving the timetable
Speaking and written components may use different dates or locations. Put each date, check-in time, address and contact into the calendar separately.
- Read every candidate notice from the registering organisation
- Plan travel, accompaniment and waiting arrangements
- Request corrections immediately through the official route
On and after test day
Keep the final evening light and check required items. Afterwards, retain candidate references, result instructions and centre notices.
- Bring valid identification and permitted items
- Arrive as instructed rather than relying on last-minute travel estimates
- Keep result-access and certificate-collection information
